Meet Brenda J. Melons

Let me begin by introducing myself to you. My name is Brenda J. Melons. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology. I currently hold the position as President for the Show & Tell non-profit organization.

I retired from the Denver District Attorney’s office as a Victim Advocate. Prior to working at the Denver District Attorney’s office, I held the position as Domestic Violence Program Coordinator for the Rose Andom Center and prior to that I was the Program Coordinator and Victim Support Training for the Denver Police Department, Victim Assistance Unit, Crimes Against Persons Bureau.

I am a long-standing member of Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church where I am an active participant working as an Usher and also on the Multi-Media Ministry. I have 2 daughters, 5 five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

I have a multitude of friends and acquaintances that enrich my life and allow me to give back to my community in a multitude of ways.
